First, you want to save cost for both the customers and yourself by cutting the unnecessary cost. You don’t want to spent top $ on bulky and pretty packaging if it’s get thrown away the minute it’s opened (I personally hate it, the recycle bin is always full). Plus it also means extra postal fees, and inventory / warehouse space. But you also want the product and the brand to be well presented, and what if the customer gives it to someone else as a gift?
Include of the flat pillow case >> pop it up, it becomes a nice box
Test run everything:
> how the online shop takes order
> pop the pillow box yourself to at least have some idea how difficult or easy it is for the customer
> my scarf needs wrapping. So here is the blue tissue wrapping
> the envelop/satchel is padded and waterproof
> still I soak the blue tissue in water to see if there is any issue? No issue, good
> put everything together nicely
> put your logo sticker on (have to get it printed first!)
> don't forget the thank you card
> print the address so it saves time writing
